Welcome to El Camino Real District UMW! We include the Northern California region from Brentwood in the northeast, to Soledad in the south, to South San Francisco in the northwest.

United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

“El Camino Real,” or “The King’s Highway,” was established in the early 1800’s as a route linking the missions, pueblos, and presidios, from San Diego to Sonoma. Today the route is marked by replicas of mission bells, as it had been in 1915. See more about El Camino Real and the mission bells here.

I received this note from Cheryl Harmon of Fremont UMW. If you can help her, please respond with a reply on this page.

    1) I have some health and birthing kits that we made up this weekend. Is there any one that you know of that is going to the depot so I could save some postage.
    2) Also do you know of any vendor that people use to buy the school bags, I have lost my sewers this year and do not have the time to do it myself.
    3) I also am interested if the Annual Conference is collecting any of the kits.

    Thank You so much,
    Cheryl Harmon, Fremont UMW

Those interested in attending the brunch need to make reservations by calling Linda at (510) 299-9342. Concord UMC is located at 1645 West St. in Concord.
